It is new-old (my father-in-law bought more airplane kits than he could finish in a literally a lifetime—see my other items from his hoard). The box cover is early as it shows the F-15 flying over Kuwait or Iraq during Desert Storm. I am guessing, but I think this was probably purchased by him in the 90s.
