You will find these priced lower than the ones I clean of rock, dirt, and quartz. The quartz is light, not dense like Gold, so the quartz does not add a lot of weight to the nugget. We call these Alaskan BC Nuggets because they are found in Atlin, British Columbia, around 50 miles as the crow flies from Skagway, Alaska. This region of gold was discovered as a result of the Klondike Goldrush that went through Skagway Alaska starting in 1898. Dawson and Atlin mining only uses water and no chemicals, this is the most ethical and eco-friendly way to mine gold, and you typically call it placer mining.
