DescriptionNote: See video in gallery showing how I pack a guitar.This is a 2010 Fender Highway One Stratocaster in Flat Black finish—excellent condition with upgraded McNelly pickups. Weight = 7lbs, 11oz. ConditionCosmetically this 14-year-vintage guitar is in great shape. One tiny mark on the edge (see pics). Other than that nothing but mild hazing on the black finish (this guitar could be buffed to a shine if owner wants). I first thought it might be a refin because you see a red undercoat when you remove the pickguard, but according to Fender serial number lookup, it came from the factory in flat black in Jan. 2010. Jumbo frets are in very good condition. Features— Alder body w/ all maple neck— 9.5” modern radius, C-shape neck— Upgraded boutique McNelly “Nostalgia” pickups ($270 value!)Sound & PlayabilityA truly beautiful player here with no issues. Pickups are a big step up from stock and include cloth wire and CTS pots. The neck feels great in the hands and has no errent marks on the back. Large 70s-style headstock, sealed tuners and 6-screw USA tremolo make for a smooth playing experience. Comes with a black gigbag. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below.
