This collectible, Clifford, poseable figure set is adorable! It is in excellent condition, considering how long I have had it! I had it displayed on a shelf, along with some Clifford books, in my kindergarten classroom. These figures were never handled by my students. This set is clean and comes from a smoke free home. This set was made my Scholastic Entertainment Inc./Toy Mfg. Co. Inc. Though I have none of the original packaging for these figures, through my research, I found out that these figures came out in 2004 and were called “Bendable Buddies”. The legs can be bent and twisted, so the figures can be posed in different ways! Included in this set are all of the 3 “Bendables”: “Clifford Parade”, “Clifford Fire Chief”, and “Clifford With Winter Scarf”. These figures are 4″-4.75″ in length and 3″-3.5″ in height. They are made of sturdy, pliable, red plastic. Each figure has white eyes with black pupils, a black nose, black eyebrows, black hair, and a tail that sticks straight out. Two of them are sporting black collars. Each expression, mouth, and set of ears is different on each dog. One figure is wearing a yellow scarf with blue fringe. His mouth is closed and both ears are pointed forward. Another has an open mouth with a pink tongue and features one ear up and the other down. Here, Clifford is wearing what appears to be a circus ringmaster’s blue, brimmed hat with a black band, a yellow decoration on each side, and a yellow feather. On his tail, attached with 2 loops, is a yellow, vertical banner with a white bone on it. And, the last figure has a partially open mouth with a pink tongue barely showing. Both ears are straight back. Clifford is wearing a yellow fireman’s hat with a white bone on it. On his back, there is a blue blanket. Attached to both sides of the blanket, with 2 white loops, are white ladders that look like long bones on the top and bottom. These figures are rare and very hard to find! I have only seen 1 other currently selling online. This set would make a wonderful addition to a Clifford enthusiast’s collection! I am hoping to find these figures a good home.
