This involves carefully adjusting the latch, making small tweaks to move it up/down or forward/back until the striker catches securely. Given that carbon fiber hoods may have slight variations or warping, additional fitting, such as enlarging mounting holes or using shims, is often required for proper alignment. Adjustments to or removal of hood bump stops may also be necessary for proper fitment. Hood Accessories: Scoops and Other Modifications Carbon Creations also offers various hood accessories, including scoops, which can enhance the performance and appearance of your vehicle. Attaching a hood scoop typically requires drilling holes in the hood for mounting, as well as using bolts or adhesive, depending on the style of the scoop.
