IRICE ART DECO STONES PERFUME ATOMIZER This listing features a cut crystal perfume bottle by I. W. Rice & Company that has striated stones added on all 4 sides. I'm not sure if the atomizer was sold this way or the stones were attached afterward but it comes from my mother’s perfume collection. She was artsy-crafty and the odds are good she embellished it since research did not find another one like it. The overall condition is outstanding and the stones look great. Measuring 3 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches long (including the bulb), it has a gold-tone metal atomizer with a beige silk crocheted bulb. The ‘bulb is still attached and not hardened but would benefit from a spot of glue. The atomizer top is securely attached to the screw-top bottle, unscrews easily, and has a plastic tube inside. It is clean without residual perfume inside or other odors. The stones are likely glass but 3 of them also test* as tourmaline. The speckled one is glass but is just as beautiful as the others. Any stickers on the crystal are long gone but research finds this design was made in Japan during the 1950s. This is a unique IRice atomizer, likely one of a kind for serious collectors of Irice and the unusual.
