Original late 1930’s to early 1950’s Ajs and Matchless motorcycle cylinder barrel, came from an AJS 18 or Matchless G80 500cc long stroke single , the barrel is iron will fit all period machines, very good condition damage to one of the top smallest fins as seen should be a straight forward fix or use as is I doubt it will even notice where it is., decent looking bore can still see cross hatching but some very light surface rust/stain but no scars and , bore measures approx 83 mm measured with a caliper which appears to be 1mm over from standard bore so plenty left for another few rebores, these are getting very scarce in any condition. casting number is 039-8-E1. Please be aware Inflation has hit us sellers hard, packing materials, gas, cost of goods, postage has gone through the roof, as are eBays fees.
