Founded in April, 1999 aFe Power got to work giving the consumer a choice in a wide variety of aftermarket performance accessories that doesn’t stop with air intakes and air filters but also includes exhaust systems, headers, intercoolers and with over 2500 applications available for all newer and later model vehicles. The aFe filter line offers 3 different styles of filters, the Pro 5R, Pro Guard 7 and Pro Dry S. Starting with the Pro 5R it is constructed with five layer gauze offering maximum air flow and filtration. The patented Pro Guard 7 is a seven layer enhancing the Pro 5R with an additional 2 layers of synthetic material, however both the Pro 5R and Pro Guard 7 do require oil recharging. Finally the Pro Dry S filter is a 3 layer synthetic material filter that offers no oil recharging and offers excellent performance and filtration. All 3 filters are washable and reusable.
