If the picture shows that an item is missing a red nob on the handle, then don’t expect the item to arrive with the red handle on the knob. That is not to say that he goes through the whole wiring diagram and checks every single connection. Products listed as “Tested & Working” or in working condition are exactly that. Something like a light bulb not working or a timer bell not functioning does not affect the working condition of an item and these things may occur. An item may be discontinued or outdated and the factory/manufacturer may have updated that particular model. If no current specs or information is available, we will match it to the closest product. Also please make sure the item will fit through your door ways. If you do not examine the merchandise and you still sign for it, you will NOT be able to file a claim or hold the shipper responsible. Freight companies are able to deny millions of dollars in damages because items were not inspected at the time of delivery and were not marked as “damaged” on the Bill of Lading. If your item has been crated, please expect to uncrate it and inspect it before the driver has left and before you sign for it. A driver is obligated to wait. If he or she tries to rush you or you are in any way unhappy with the delivery, ask to speak to his or her dispatcher. You may also contact us for assistance.Shipping Practices:If you are having your item shipped to a residence, please let us know as freight companies charge a separate residential delivery fee. If you are running a business out of your home, you are still classified as a residence.Freight is generally bulky and heavy. This means that it must be lowered to the ground from the truck, which is usually 3-5 feet off of the ground. If you do not have a loading dock or a forklift at your delivery site, you will need to use the truck’s lift gate to lower the item to the ground. Freight companies charge a separate fee for this service so please let us know if you do or do not require a lift gate on delivery. Inside Delivery: Unless you pay for and make arrangements to have the freight company bring your item(s) inside, they will not do it. Freight deliveries are sidewalk / curbside only.
