eBay 1999 Porcelain Very Colorful Candace Reiter Cat Tall Mug Yellow, Orange, Green, and Black For Your Art Pottery Collection or to Complete Your Set-MugCat1 Details Description: A beautiful and very colorful art pottery tall mug having a round footed base with straight rising sides which are outwardly flared and ending in a plain rim. The tall mug (~6 1/4″ high) has an applied pink handle. The piece is branded CATZILIA and was produced in 1999 by the Candace Reiter Design and made in China. The mug is decorated with colorful cat heads surrounded by large sunflowers that are yellow with orange centers. There is a blue sky above and green leaves interspersed between the flowers. The cat’s heads are black and white as well as flesh tone and black with pink nose and ears as well as green eyes. The rim of the mug is colored in pink with a wavy black line through it. The bottom oof the mug is footed and is white with black under glaze markings including the artist’s signature, date, and other details. Please see last photo for details. Origin: Purchased at an estate Auction in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Size: The plate measures ~2 3/4″ in diameter at the base, ~3 3/4″ in diameter at the top, ~5 1/2″ at its widest including the handle, and is ~6 1/4″ in height. The mug weighs about one pound and 2 ounces. Maker: Candace Reiter Design. Marks: Marked on the bottom in black lettering under glaze “CATZILIA/ (c) 1999 CANDACE REITER DESIGNS” then it is signed Candace Reiter in nice calligraphy and finally has the following notation below it all “www.henriksenimports.com/Not recommended for dishwasher or microwave oven”.
