Here we have a complete set (6 Cards) of the Italian version of the 1897 Liebig (England) “The Discovery of the Route to India” (la Découverte de la route des Indes) trade cards. Most pieces are sent in envelopes that are sandwiched between cardboard before being sent as Priority or first-class parcels in non-bendable mailers, which ship at rates much higher than first-class letters. We never toss our ephemera into thin stationery envelopes with forever stamps stuck to them expecting the USPS to deliver them to you with great care.We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
